I'm Cassie Story, a registered dietitian nutritionist and wellness coach, an advocate for holistic well-being, plant medicine enthusiast, and single mom with a passion for helping others empower themselves along their journey to mental and physical wellness.

My Story

Ten years ago, my world was turned upside down by a divorce that I didn’t want, and never expected. As with many things in life, the greatest wounds tend to become our biggest lessons and opportunity for growth.

As a single mom for the past decade, I've navigated the challenges of raising two amazing daughters while also managing my own well-being. Over the years, I've confronted my own battles with anxiety and depression. These experiences have shaped my deep commitment to holistic health and wellness, and acceptance of where I am at in each moment of this earth walk.

In 2014, Arizona legalized medical marijuana. I was working with very sick patients at the time. They would come to me with little life left in them, and it was my job to help them figure out how to nourish their bodies in a way that felt good to them and was healthy for their body. Over a few months time period, several of my patients asked me about using medical marijuana to help improve their quality of life AND nutrition labs. I saw improvement after improvement once my patients started using cannabis gummies. Their appetites increased (a desired thing for them), color was returned to their faces, and I saw some of them smile for the first time. This started my curiosity towards plant medicines and their ability to work with us and improve various aspects of our lives.

Ground: The Power of Plant Medicine

One of my greatest discoveries on this path has been the transformative potential of plant medicine. I've found that it not only helps me connect with my inner spirit but also provides relief from intrusive thoughts while calming my racing mind. The healing properties of plant medicine have become an integral part of my self-care journey, including cannabis, psylocibin mushrooms, kava, and cacao.

My love for nutrition goes beyond just physical health; it's deeply rooted in mental well-being. I've witnessed firsthand how the right dietary choices and supplements can positively impact both body and mind. It's my belief that what we eat plays a significant role in how we feel and function.

For decades, I've embraced mindset practices such as journaling and meditation. These tools have been instrumental in my personal growth and well-being. Through these practices, I've learned to cultivate a positive mindset, find clarity, and develop resilience in the face of life's challenges.

My mission is to share my hurts and struggles and the knowledge and growth that resulted from those traumas that have empowered me to thrive and create a life I truly love.
